Shark Tank: Deals Offered and Closed
MBA FPX 5008 Assessment 1 Shark Tank is a program where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas, and investors, who are also called “sharks,” offer deals. Of the 237 deals on the show that were done, 57% of them were actually closed and 43% of them were not. Of the 134 deals closed, 95% of the businesses continue to operate, 4% of the businesses closed, and 1% changed ownership.
Shark Tank: Deals Offered, Closed, and Changed by Investors
Every shark’s deals were unique in terms of success and status. Mark Cuban had 32 deals, Daymond John had 27, Kevin O’Leary had 14, Barbara Corcoran had 28, Lori Greiner had 35, and Robert Herjavec had 24. The number of deals that held and those which got changed or fell apart also differed for each investor. The below table summarizes the deals offered by every shark, those which remained unchanged, those which were changed, and those which fell through eventually.

Conclusion
MBA FPX 5008 Assessment 1 Being on Shark Tank has worked to the advantage of most entrepreneurs. According to a survey, 73% of the contestants found the experience beneficial despite the failure to secure a deal. Most entrepreneurs primarily realized other advantages such as exposure and networking from appearing on the show.
