The Importance of Entrepreneurial Ethics in Business Success
ENTR FPX 5412 Assessment 3 In the business world, where business is competitive, sound ethical values are the cornerstone of long-term success. For well-established woodworking firms owned by veterans, such as our firm, these values are a cornerstone in delivering great products and customer trust. Our adherence to ethics and customer satisfaction in a strict manner differentiated us in the business world, generating repeat business and word-of-mouth marketing. This paper will briefly address the mission, values, and ethical considerations that guide our business to remain compliant as well as driving success in a saturated market.
Mission Statement: Veteran-Owned Woodworking with Integrity
As a veteran-owned and operated business, our mission is to design and restore one-of-a-kind furniture that clients will want. Each project is built to create lasting relationships so that clients can return for future projects. This mission emphasizes our dedication to quality craftsmanship and good business practices, both of which are pillars of our success.
Venture Values and Ethical Standards in Business
Businesses, whether they are large business companies or small carpentry firms, must run their businesses on fundamental values and moral principles. In setting absolute moral standards, we create a company culture that develops customer and employee loyalty. If these values are made visible through the operations of day-to-day business, the entrepreneurial team acts in spirited, dedicated, and collective awareness toward organizational goals.
For entrepreneurs, professional and personal values are very interdependent. They decide how jobs and goals are prioritized and consequently how companies are run. The following are the fundamental values that drive our company:
• Respect for Self and Others: Respect is the foundation of any prosperous business. Respect allows entrepreneurs to appreciate their hard work and build good relationships with their family, community, and customers. Respect fosters pride, hope, and enthusiasm, freeing entrepreneurs from the prison of low self-esteem, anger, and frustration.
• Trust: It is necessary to have trust within a growing business. Customers, workers, and suppliers must have confidence in the honesty and trustworthiness of the business. Trust is gained through consistent action and avoids worst traits such as selfishness and encourages cooperation between parties in a business deal.
• Honesty: Businessmen need to be honest, particularly in making monetary choices and transacting in properties. Honesty introduces transparency into decision-making so that entrepreneurs remain free from complacency and remain calm in adverse conditions.
• Fortitude: Business entails perseverance and determination. Entrepreneurs require fortitude to endure hardship and maintain a resolve on long-term goals. Fortitude, characterized by realism and steadiness, helps entrepreneurs remain focused despite setbacks.
Why Ethical Practices Matter for New Businesses
ENTR FPX 5412 Assessment 3 New companies must prioritize ethical practices. This involves incorporating ethical practices into mission statements, business documents, and business strategies. It is easier for customers to invest in a company that is known to be ethical, and a professed commitment to ethics can attract investors and customers and create loyalty.
