Professional Development Framework
Drawing on everything that I’ve learned to this point so far from this program and in my own professional history, I’m able to appreciate significant room for growth within this area. I’m constantly in search of additional areas to improve in order to support long-term business prosperity. Professionalism is such a great thing to strive for, as it enables you to perform your job to the highest standards, impress and inspire others, and enjoy a deep sense of satisfaction and self-worth. The most challenging aspect of this course has been adjusting to writing at the doctoral level. Proper APA paper formatting has been a recent difficulty for me, but with practice, I am learning how to appropriately include and cite sources. The easiest aspect of this course was the clear guidelines that led me through different assessments. I realize I need to keep practicing my writing abilities, but my strongest ability is my research skills. I might not catch up with some ideas at the start, but by studying a lot, I can learn a lot.
Subdomains and Goals
Ontological Humility and Personal Branding are two of the subdomains that I wish to further develop. For Ontological Humility, my goals are to demonstrate that reality is correct, arrive at the right belief, and gain acceptance by this domain. For Personal Branding, my goal is to create a clear brand for myself in the marketplace and secure the job I’ve always dreamed of. Reflecting on My Chosen Specialization
Given that my selected specialization for the Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and Development will be an unfamiliar learning experience, the practical nature of the program will be beneficial, as it provides opportunities to put into practice what is acquired in discussions, research, and self-study. In order to achieve doctoral studies, I should be self-directed, self-motivated, and very dedicated, as I am in charge of my own achievement. This credential fits my future business objectives, offering different perspectives to business. Considering past experiences with employers has assisted in deciding on a career I would love. We all believe that we only have one ideal job that fits us, but in reality, there are some tolerable substitutes.

Strategies for Staying Motivated
Having a good network of ex-professional acquaintances has been a vast benefit, such as my professional development teacher from my undergraduate degree, who has helped me do so much in my professional life. My kids sometimes tend to distract me, but I am always able to balance my duties and priorities. Motivation is also a key strategy I use to accomplish my goals, and I know that success to a large extent depends on how one succeeds in getting and staying motivated all the time. The expectations of a DBA graduate outline the person and good leader that I am becoming. I am positive because I have overcome some of the most challenging obstacles.
