Part 1: Plan Your Time
COM FPX 1150 Assessment 3 fTime management is the most important factor for the accomplishment of goals and maintaining an effective daily routine (Terefe et al., 2023). Scheduling and arranging the task according to priority holds great significance in ensuring the completion of the task and the accomplishment of desired outcomes. Dividing the work between personal, professional, and academic life requires proper weekly calendar arrangements while prioritizing each week’s task for a clear understanding of the most time-needed work (Aeon et al., 2021). Planning the time and prioritizing the tasks helps in developing the habit of organizing the daily work in a way that is easy to achieve and less stressful. Using a time management calculator and Google Calendar helps prioritize the tasks effectively without consuming great effort. This assessment will focus on creating a weekly schedule of the tasks depending on their priority and arranging them for better outcomes.
Estimating Realistic Task Completion Times
Prioritizing Six Tasks Split Between Different Areas
Splitting the tasks according to the priority level helps manage the time for each task effectively and produce quality outcomes (Ramírez & Bijelić, 2024). Splitting the task according to priority is necessary to identify the time needed for each task and how it can be achieved within the defined time. Moreover, it provides clear insight ensuring the effective implementation and accomplishment of prioritized tasks (Bugayenko et al., 2023). This process validates the successful outcomes regarding the implementation of the scheduled tasks including the academic, personal, and career objectives. For each day of the week, the six tasks are considered most important and need to be completed daily to avoid any kind of burden or mismanagement regarding the task accomplishment. These six tasks are given below;
- Course Class
- Project Meetings
- Family Gatherings
- Eating time
- Book Reading
- Traveling
The Rationale to Determine Priority
Identification of the priority refers to determining the importance and urgency of the task by giving them numbers from 1-6 on the priority list. This numbering highlights the importance of the task that needs to be completed first without any delay to prevent any kind of mismanagement regarding the time and daily routine tasks (Gopalakrishnan & Borrajo, 2022). The course classes are the most important tasks of the daily routine that need to be accomplished at the allotted time for the prevention of any kind of time organization problems.
The successful completion of one task in the daily routine ensures the timely completion of the other task, but if the most urgent and prior task is not completed on time it will lead to a huge hustle for the management of the other tasks. This will ultimately lead to the failure of the daily schedule designed using Google time management calculator and Google Calendar thus disturbing the complete strategy for the task accomplishment. The second most important task of the week is project meetings necessary for the completion of the student’s final year projects. The third is the family gathering which is the most important part of the daily schedule as giving time to family ensures a happy and good family environment which will positively impact the daily routine task management. Taking dinners, and lunches on time is the fourth most important factor of the daily schedule as it will ensure the proper energy to achieve set goals for the day. The last two include traveling which is necessary daily to move from one place to another on time and at the end of the day giving some time to book reading is necessary to ensure that the activity part of life is still alive for better mental and physical health.
Calendar to Organize Tasks
The Rationale for Choosing a Time Organization Strategy
The time organization strategy provides clear goals and an accurate mindset to actively work on the prioritized task and ensures its completion for the successful completion of other tasks of the day. It provides a structured and strategic approach to completing high-priority tasks identified based on importance and urgency. The Eisenhower Matrix time organization strategy focuses on task prioritization based on urgency and importance (Kennedy & Porter, 2021). This strategy ensures the focus of the individual on the tasks that are most important thus helping them in managing the daily workflow efficiently without any ambiguity. The time-blocking technique validates the effective allotment of time for each task preventing the wastage of time and energy. Proper managment of time is dependent on the proper arrangement of time for each task and this approach will improve the outcomes of the task and ensure enhanced productivity.
Work Event Impacted Approach to Time Organization
The time organization strategy is developed to ensure the timely and effective accomplishment of an everyday task by incorporating a valid time management schedule and task prioritization (Vizeshfar et al., 2022). The daily work events have become organized with more chances of easy accomplishment due to the developed clear mindset and goals for the accomplishment of the task. Integrating strategy in managing tasks helps in rearranging the priorities by top listing the urgent tasks and less ranking the less time and importance needed tasks. Using time blocking helps in including the events in the schedule within the specified time allotted for each task. However, for problems or challenges like overlapping critical thinking helps a lot in finding solutions and again prioritizing the tasks based on urgency and importance. Digital calendars and Google schedules help manage time and tasks for easy accomplishment and timely achievement. Spending weekends on activities and managing the daily most essential tasks to less essential helps in keeping a positive attitude ensuring better productivity.
Credibility and Relevance of a Chosen Resource
The credibility and relevance of the resources are the most important factors that need to be considered while gathering information for research or any other purposes (Cohen et al., 2021). The information needs to be accurate and helpful in the process of decision making ensuring the evident approach for problem solution. The credibility can be determined by evaluating the status of peer reviews along with assessing the credentials of the author of the resource. Google Calendar is the most authentic source and website for the management of time and prioritizing the task lists ensuring the accuracy of the events. Moreover, it helps generate reminders regarding the completion of specific tasks and ensures the time initiation of the other specified task for better productivity and prevention of mismanagement. The Capella Library resources are most effective for gathering authentic information that is accurate and properly addresses the time organization strategies implemented for the better and structured management of the daily routine tasks. The digital calculator for the calculation of daily required hours for each activity or work provides evident insight to ensure that each hour of the day is effectively fulfilled with the prioritized tasks arranged from most important to least important.
Conclusion
Time managment is the most important need of today’s world due to the rush created and the advances making people’s lives busier (Aeon et al., 2021). Properly prioritizing the tasks through setting the preferences from important to less attention required by the management of the task ensures increased productivity and positive responses. Integrating time management strategies and proper techniques helps in the management of the daily workflow effectively ensuring an increased satisfaction level and preventing any problem created due to mismanagement like task overlapping.
