BUS FPX 4126 Assessment 3 Axesspointe acknowledges the significance of prioritizing the installation of new IT processes. Necessary in an access point primarily aims at enhancing communication. Working with a seller is envisioned to occupy the following priorities:
• Reorganization of telephone lines to set up a more structured communication system.
• Merging telephone lines into Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Migrate the client-hosted server across cloud-based platforms. Effective communication with patients matters since research establishes a relationship between health professionals and improved health outcomes and improved communication with patient satisfaction scores (King and Hapy, 2013). Adding the telephone lines to the EHR system would enhance the patient’s identification, which would decrease patient safety risk. Further, infection for cloud-based server may amplify the impact of EHR, offering increased patient engagement in their health care system (Chen et al., 2016).
Policies and Human Resource Guidelines
Good human resources (HR) are essential in order to prosper with any health organization. HR department at Axesspointe has a critical role in boarding and employee education on API guidelines. Studies indicate that investment and growth of employees can decrease sales (Clotier et al., 2015). The objective of Accesspoint’s comprehensive two weeks employee’s boarding program is to ensure new prices work effectively in their positions, are familiar with applicable systems, and are at ease with day -day duties, add effective employees’ storage to storage strategies.
HIPAA Evaluation
Adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and the Responsibility Act (HIPAA) is mandatory for Axesspointe as a covered unit. To maintain hipaa person protection and safety regulations, all staff members are mandated to undergo annual hipaa compliance training. Implementing EHR necessitates a high level of collaboration between the seller and the IT team and considerable training that meets various departments’ requirements.
Quality Improvement Initiatives
In order to enhance the patient’s care and maximize the financial outcomes, improving the quality initiative is required. The Accesspoint Drug Medical Management (MTM) program implemented by the pharmacy department is an example of an active method to enhance the quality. Not only does the program create new revenue streams, but it also lowers total cost of care and supports patient -centered care (OPA, 2020; Lorenz, 2021).
Information Technology and Administration Collaboration
This is necessary in order to achieve administration, and it is in order to accomplish organizational objectives. Different addresses can yield improved outcomes for health services (Combil, 2018) by addressing the demands of information and technology individually. Sustainable cooperation among IT and other departments, for example, invoicing, reflects the significance of leveraging competence in order to harmonize priorities and to address operational issues efficiently.
